...We're having a party and hope you can come! Charley's best little girlfriend is having her birthday party tomorrow, and I offered to make the cupcakes. (I like to bake) Her party has a ladybug theme, hence the above poem.
They are chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting... I picked through a big bag of M&M's and got all of the brown ones to use as the dots. Their heads are chocolate wafers that I cut in half. They didn't quite meet my expectations, but they are alright. I have more ideas if I ever need to make them again.
I also made some carrot cake cupcakes with creamcheese frosting. Yum! These are for the mom of Charley's friend. Poor thing, Thanksgiving falls on her birthday this year.
Theses turned out better in my opinion.
I'll leave you with one final picture today... Today was Sam's last football game. The boy gives it his all. We had a rough time this season... new coach, differences of opinion, unfair treatment (in my opinion). I proud of him, he stuck it out and rose above it all. He's my dude and I am so glad he is!
